Athletics Fees

2017-2018 ACTIVITY FEE INFORMATION

The activity fee structure for extracurricular activities will continue for the 2017-2018 school year. This information sheet provides details for athletic fees only for participants at Perkins High School and Briar Middle School.

High School Athletic Activity Fees

Each high school athlete will be responsible to pay an athletic activity fee of $100.00.

Middle School Athletic Activity Fees

Each middle school athlete will be responsible to pay an athletic activity fee of $50.00.

THE PAY TO PARTICIPATE FEE IS DUE NO LATER THAN:

       Fall Sports & Marching Band August 12th
       Winter Sports and Activities November 11th
       Spring Sports and Activities March 10th

Payments can be made in the following ways:
 
        Cash, check, or money order payable to Perkins Local Schools can be taken to the high school or middle school offices.

        Online payments through EZ Pay.

        Credit or Debit cards can be taken at the high school or middle school office.

Special Information Items

1. If an athlete is permitted to go out for a sport after the starting date, fee payments will be accepted after the respective deadlines.

2. The payment of an activity fee does not guarantee any athlete a certain amount of competition contest time.

3. Fees are non-refundable with the following exceptions:
        A. Sport is canceled due to insufficient numbers.
        B. Student does not make the team.
        C. If a student becomes disabled prior to the first game.
        D. Student moves out of the district prior to first contest.
        E. Student is academically ineligible to participate for the grading period
            prior to playing in any games .
        F. Payments can be transferred to another sport by request of the athlete
            or parent.
4. No refunds will be issued after the first contest of each sport.

Refunds must be requested in writing to the District Treasurer.  Refunds will be issued according to the above criteria at the end of the school year.
